UNIFORM, SOFT LIGHT-DARK CONTRASTS

The nature of the ground, obstacles, steps and differences in level make bollard luminaires, post luminaires, wall luminaires and base luminaires visible. It is important to have uniform light without harsh light-dark contrasts.

DISTANCE BETWEEN LUMINAIRES

As a guideline for the distance between luminaires, the following applies: the lower the light point height, the smaller the distance to the next luminaire must be.

ORIENTATION LIGHTS

Especially single steps and stairs are accident black spots. Only proper lighting makes the individual steps easily recognisable from above and below. Short, soft shadows clearly set the treads apart.

A SAFETY PLUS

Orientation and marker luminaires used with the path luminaires offer a further plus in terms of safety. They are mounted on the wall accompanying the stairs or integrated into risers.
